I hold Dr. Garabekyan in the highest regard possible. In the last four months, he performed two surgeries on me: a hip replacement surgery on my right side, and arthroscopic surgery of my right knee. I've thus been through something of an ordeal: pre-surgery, surgery, post-op, in-home physical therapy, outpatient PT. Through it all, Dr. Garabekyan was a consummate professional, the best of the best, a veritable magician with the scalpel: minimizing scars and getting me back on my feet post haste. I now walk pain-free and glitch-free. Every time I walk, I am consciously grateful for the very fact that I'm walking. My gratitude extends gushingly to Dr. Garabekyan and his staff. He took the time to answer patiently my every question, and he allayed my qualms about the procedures, and his keen judgment gave me the confidence to go forward. I made the decision to drive all the way from the western-most part of LA Country to his office in Beverly Hill, even though LA traffic can back up and make like miserable. But it was worth it. I feel I had the best medical care in all of Los Angeles. Dr. Garabekyan spent as much time explaining things as needed, and his bedside manner exudes and inspires confidence. His follow-up care was superb. In a minute, I'd pick him to perform surgery on one of my joints gone bad. He's business-like but also affable and warm. I would recommend him to anyone on a dime!

Amazing, caring doctor! Took my 85 year old father to him after our primary doctor referred us. My father had suffered a complete collapse of his T-7 and compression on the spinal cord from a previous car accident and I was extremely nervous about the major surgery he was about to undergo to reinforce his spine. Dr. Bhalla calmed my fears and did an excellent job with the 2 rods and 12 screws he put in his back. This surgery saved my dad from becoming completely paralyzed. Very grateful to Dr. Bhalla!

I just had my pre op apt with Dr Millstine, he is absolutely amazing. Was very thorough and honest on how he felt about my knee injury. I have a torn ACL and Meniscus. If you've been told you need spinal surgery to correct your issues you must consult with Dr. Sanjay Khurana first before going under the knife. I had seen five different doctors for a degenerative spinal spondylitis problem and was told I definitely needed surgery with a three-month recovery period. After consulting with Dr. Khurana and submitting to his "minimally invasive" surgery, I was walking the next day - with immediate relief from sciatica pain - and almost a total recovery within 2 - 4 weeks! Dr. Khurana is truly the Master in this field of medicine.

A pure Golden Genius.> Dr. Leonel Hunt's background alone speaks for himself. If anyone! believes this doctor is not one of the most " Thoughtful, Brilliant, Dedicated" Orthopedic Spine Surgeon's across America, then they should look at his achievements, his hard-work, and long-suffering that he put into his career, and his patients. I alone, appreciate the time and effort he put into my back surgery. He's a caring doctor too. I was able to call him between 1:00am to 4:00am if I had a concern about my back once I returned home. He did not reject one call. Dr. Hunt knew I was very scared; but, he assured me that everything would be ok being that this was my second (Lumber S1-L5 Discectomy) that didn't go so well the first time, at another location. THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! As one begins to explore replacing a knee it can be scary and brings on a lot of apprehension and questions. I started my search in YELP and did a lot of comparison and review reading. After all, you're replacing an integral part of your body and if not done right can leave you crippled. I ended up selecting Dr. Millstein for an appointment. Dr. Millstein was very straightforward, informative and organized. I felt comfortable with him right away. He gave me my options and I decided to move forward. Appointments were made. His office kept me informed and sent me documents and information when needed. The big day arrived. I had the normal fear and nervousness one gets prior to surgery and he talked to my wife and myself at length and answered all questions. We both felt much better. Needless to say he did a great job. I'm sure I came out of surgery with the best pain control possible. Cedar Sinai hospital was clean, efficient and very friendly. (Which you don't get the friendly part in most hospitals). Dr Millstein is an excellent doctor. I have seen him for a range of problems over the past 5-6 years including hip, knee and related issues. He's direct and explains things clearly -- and is never condescending! I frequently recommend him to friends and colleagues. Additionally, his staff at the front desk and the technicians are all friendly, professional and efficient. Recently, the front desk found a way to squeeze me in for an appointment because I was experiencing pain, even though the schedule was unusually packed as Dr Millstein had been in vacation. I recommend him most highly! On top of all of the above, he's a great guy!

The front office was friendly, not too long of a wait. The X Ray department was thorough, they gave me a cover for my thyroid. I would have liked them offering the protection without me having to ask. Dr Millstein is professional and will always find a way to help with out surgery as the first option.
