I’m a 53 year old guy and consider myself active.. I found out… after doing a bunch of research.. very few Dr’s do “hip resurfacing”. I did not want THR and was encouraged by a friend that resurfacing was better for active people.. Dr. Ramkumar was the best I found in California and I can honestly say it was well worth the long drive… He did surgery on my right hip on October 14, 2024 and it went amazing.. I had a few obstacles in life that made his job more difficult, but he managed it with grace and ease.. (and for that I’m grateful).. He is super friendly and has a gift of mixing humor, with the knowledge of the process, to make people feel comfortable. I would strongly recommend Dr Ramkumar for any hip needs.. It’s been 10 months since surgery and I just recently went jogging for the 1st time in years..

My partial knee replacement with Dr. Prem Ramkumar was a great experience. The entire team was exceptional from the initial consultation to post-op care. Call back questions were taken care of in a timely manner. I had no bruising, I’m 4 weeks post-op and walking without a walker or cane. I had severe osteoporosis of the left hip and I wasn't a candidate for full hip replacement because of my young age (mid 40's). It was recommended that I seek hip resurfacing which is only performed by a handful of doctors across the US. Dr. Ramkumar came highly recommended and he made the process seamless. I met for a consultation and had the surgery scheduled within 3 months. Although this was my first surgery he walked me through all of my options and the pros and cons of each. He did an excellent job of assuaging my fears and easing my concerns (one of which was returning to playing basketball with my son). I am a year into my recovery and I am fully back to playing basketball and the scar is no longer visible. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Ramkumar for giving me my life back pain free. I would recommend him without any reservation!!

Dr Sanjay Khurana is an amazing spine surgeon. He did my lower lumbar spinal fusion surgery 7 weeks ago and I am very happy with the results. It has been a true pleasure having Dr Khurana as my surgeon. He is so talented, kind, smart, and professional. A real class act! UPDATE: Just recently on August 14 of 2025, it was one year since my back surgery with Dr. Khurana. I feel amazing! I’ve been going on 7 mile hikes with steep inclines in the mountains for the last three months. With no discomfort or pain whatsoever. I’m training and working out like I always did. Every day I’m grateful for how successful this surgery has been for me. And that’s why I came on here to add to my review. I followed all my preop and postop protocol precisely. Following our initial consultation, during which he thoroughly explained my condition and addressed all my questions, my surgery was scheduled. The surgery was a complete success even after encountering some complications.
