Dr. Combs is great. He is knowledgeable and answers questions thoroughly. The office staff needs work, definitely not the best customer service and not always polite. I will update in 2 months after my hip replacement surgery.

I've been seeing Dr. Millstein for almost 10 years now. Not every day of course. And not every year either. Within those 10 years, there could be stretches of 3 or 4 years where I didn't need to see him at all. However, when I do need to see Dr. Millstein, it's always a stellar experience. The combination of his hip sense of humor along with his superb skill honed over years of practice make for one of the best doctors I've ever had. The 2013 knee surgery and 2016 shoulder replacement were both amazing. Yes, he's not the only doctor who could've done this for me but I can't imagine I could've been in better hands. My visit yesterday was a follow-up. He went over x-rays with me and explained everything in a way that my non-medical brain could comprehend (as he always does). I'm confident every patient of his walks away believing they are his favorite patient. He is simply the best in L.A. Yes, I realize that's a bold statement considering I haven't met every orthopedic surgeon in the city but I stand by it all the same.

Dr. Garabekyan is extremely knowledgable. He was able to diagnose the cause of my hip pain in the first visit, despite the condition being quite rare. Thankfully the treatment did not involve surgery, but that didn’t make him lose interest in my case like most surgeons would. He is kind and caring and I’m so thankful to have found him.

Dr. Garabekyan has been my Orthopedic doctor for well over a year now. He preformed a left hip arthroscopy last April on me, a right hip arthroscopy this past May, and I’m currently in recovery from a periacetabular osteotomy (PAO) on my left side (I will post an updated review once I’m fully recovered). I’ve been through quite a journey so far with my hips, and am still going through recovery, but I wanted to express my feelings about him at this point in my journey in hopes that someone else reads this and feels comfortable and confident in his work. I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Garabekyan. From the moment I met him I immediately knew I had found someone who was actually going to help me try to figure out what’s going on with my hips and help me get my life back. So far, he has done exactly that and 100x more. I’ve never met a doctor who cares so much about his patients. He’s kind, patient, confident, knowledgeable, concerned, and everything in between. I’ve had a really tough couple years dealing with my hips, but if it wasn’t for Dr. G, I would have never been on the path to getting my life back that I'm on now. If only there were more doctors like him, the world of medicine would be a far better (and less scary) place. Hats off to him for what he does everyday, there is no better. Thanks for all you do Dr. Garabekyan, appreciate it from the bottom of my heart!

Dr Wassef Performed a total hip replacement on my right hip. I found him to be outstanding in every way. Before the surgery, but very clear on in every aspect. Also, very patient with me and spent a lot of time explaining the situation. The surgery and the aftermath have been fantastic so far. The technique Dr. Wassef uses seems to smaller scar and less muscle cutting than other techniques An outstanding performance from beginning to end.

Dr Wassef is an incredibly skilled surgeon who treats his patients like good friends. In less than 5 weeks after my hip replacement, I was back on the dance floor. My physical therapist was so impressed with my recovery that he released me after 12 sessions of therapy. If you’re considering hip, knee, or shoulder surgery, definitely get an opinion from Dr Wassef.

I have nothing but praise for Dr. Wassef. I needed a difficult and complicated hip replacement. Seven weeks after my surgery I was able to go to Europe for the birth of a new grandson. No walker. My new Ortho... (traveled from Idaho) I am a very "active" grandma of seven... It wasn't until after vetting four different Ortho's that I choose Dr. Garabekyan. I had bi-lateral labral tears in my hips and was in a lot of constant pain. I went to some of the "best" hip surgeons in LA and Beverly Hills. I left their offices feeling discouraged and not very confident. I sought out Dr. Garabekyan for his Arthroscopic Labral repair techniques (no perineal post) and recovery period. From my 1st visit where the tears were explained and the specific details for surgery were given, I was certain he was the right surgeon. He made accommodations for a prompt surgery due to the distance I would need to travel. Dr. Garabekyan gave me his cell number and kept me informed all the way through the process. He was kind enough to share all the details a second time with my husband. Surgery day came, Dr. Garabekyan came into the pre-op room sat with us for 15 minutes, went through the surgery details again, which was very reassuring. Surgery (on both hips) went very well and I walked same day, that was outstanding! He texted me daily to check on my recovery!! Wow! I felt like a VIP! Pain management/recovery: I was off narcotics within 24 hrs. Went on to Toradol for three more days, then to Ibuprofen from there. I used crutches for 1 week inside and two-weeks outside. PT started with bike riding twice a day; PT w/therapist started week 3. My PT was amazed and impressed with my recovery and the techniques that Dr. Garabekyan used. I definitely did my part, but truly believe that my recovery is and has gone so well because of the skills and expertise of my doctor. I am 6 weeks post-op and went for a two-hour beach bike ride in Santa Barbra with my grandchildren even after walking the zoo for two-in-a-half hours!! I am thankful that I listen to my gut and did my research! All my pre-surgery pain is 100% gone! I am pleased to highly recommend Dr. Garabekyan for any of your ortho needs!

Dr Millstein is hands down the best doctor I've ever been to. His unique approach to sports medicine and Injuries is very refreshing. Will listen to every word you have to say and will always consider alternative options. Has sympathy for the pain his patients walk in with, which makes everybody feel at ease. Clean professional environment. I recommend Doc Millstein for anything from knees to ankles to shoulders to hips.
