Where to start! Dr. Khurana is an exceptional person and surgeon. He has received top education and has made important contributions to his area of expertise. My care is never rushed and my concerns are treated respectfully. Dr. Khurana has a mellow persona and is thus easy to talk to. His staff are polite and always helpful. As an aside, five years ago Dr. Khurana performed surgery on my spine. I had an uneventful recovery and feel good to this day. I would not hesitate to return if ever I had the need for similar care.

Dr. Khurana is a professional, conscientious and brilliant surgeon. He did great work on me. Told me everything he was going to do before he did it and then did it flawlessly. My cervical spine case was very complicated, and most doctors would not attempt to do this type of surgery. He performed the surgery with confidence, and now, after two months, I can say the result has been excellent.  He's a great, great surgeon. I'm delighted and happy. His staffs are also great. I am a 26 year old woman who is in recovery from a two level artificial disc replacement surgery. Thanks to Dr. Khurana and his staff, I am finally able to plan my life post back pain. Prior to seeing Dr. Khurana, I saw five different doctors in which I was told my MRI did not look “that bad” and that I was just getting older. Unlike others, Dr. Khurana believed me and my pain. He affirmed that it was not normal for a 26 year old to have debilitating back pain. Shortly after working with him, it became clear that I required two lower lumbar disk replacements. Dr. Khurana and his staff did a great job of teaching me about this procedure, helping me with insurance hoops and preparing for medical leave. I can’t recommend Dr. Khurana’s office for back pain enough, especially if you are not being listened to by other doctors. Dr. Khurana will believe you and you will get better.

Dr Khurana took his time to explain all my options and gave me the pros cons of each. I never felt rushed and I knew I would be at total ease with him since this would be my 2nd surgery with him. I fell recently and re-injured myself and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my spine. After the last surgery I had a 99% improvement I was no longer using a cane and was able to get off all my pain medication, if in doubt no worries you’re in good hands with Dr Khurana and the whole office is professional and friendly.

July 27, 2022 Lower back pain is gone, just mostly slight discomfort. Spinal fusion was performed on July 18, and I am out of Cedars Marina Del Rey Hospital and at California Rehabilitation Institute in Century City for a week now. I have had numerous spine surgeries in the past, all done by the very skillful Dr. Khurana. All of them have given me total pain relief within a week or two. No more serious pain meds are needed, just Gabapentin and Tylenol. I would very much like to thank Dr. Khurana and his skilled team for making my life pain free. Special thanks go to Surgical Coordinator Jessica Lopez who always took my calls, answered my numerous questions and scheduled my surgery date. Special thanks also to Noor Lakhani for ordering my meds prior to surgery and with helping me get placed with Cal Rehab...I'm very appreciative. Others deserve mentions as well, Elena De Silva who coordinated the delivery of my ice machine and helped me with my post operative back brace. And Bianca who also ordered my pre operative pain meds. And especially all those wonderful people at Cedars Marina Del Rey; the Anesthesiologist and all of the operating nurses and technicians. I am thankful for what you did for me. And I look forward to not seeing you in that environment again. But if I do, I know I will be well taken care of. Thanks again to Dr. Khurana...you were sensational.

I highly recommend Dr. Khurana. I had tremendous arm pain from cervical disc issues that I was experiencing for months. I consulted with 5 other doctors (neuro and orthopedic surgeons) and Dr. Khurana was by far the best. He was easy to talk to, didn't rush me in my appointment and made me felt comfortable with my decision making. I ended up have artificial disc replacement surgery on two discs in my neck and I woke up without pain in my arm right after the surgery. A week after I was about 80-90% back to normal. I need to be patient with getting back to 100% (probably 4-6 weeks total recovery) but I am very glad that I did the surgery with Dr. Khurana. His staff and the surgical center nurses were beyond amazing, it honestly felt like a day spa!

Had a very complicated cervical case. Has to do a ACDF at one level and 2 ADRs. Dr. Khurana is very competent and really good. His nursing staff is excellent. He is patient and explains everything really well. I am happy to have him as my doctor.

From the moment I first met Dr. Khurana, I knew my life was going to change in miraculous ways. I've suffered from Spinal Stenosis for many years and now I had 3 collapsed discs in my neck that was affecting the nerves in my arms & my quality of life. Something had to be done immediately. I was wary of Fusion and wanted another option. Dr. Khurana suggested a 3 Level Artificial Disc implant surgery. He was straight forward and to the point. He answered every question I had and never pressured me into anything. He had a gentle confidence to him that was reassuring and I decided to do it. Everyone in his office was great and I was treated with the upmost respect. His assistant Noor had previously gone through the procedure and walked me through each part of the process. She is an incredible person who goes above & beyond for his patients. I'm 8 days post surgery and while I'm not going to say it's been easy, I will say that I am looking forward to having my previous quality of life back again soon. There are difficult choices made in life that you look back on and realize they are blessings , this is one of those for me. Dr. Khurana and his staff are game-changers and I'm forever grateful for the work they do.

Considering that age attracts doctors, the older I get I need more doctors. Along the way I found Doctor Khurana to be the best of the best. I completely trust him and his skills partially based on the success of my low back fusion last year. That surgery changed my life and I am looking forward that he will be putting a new disc in my neck later this year. I have been seeing him for about 15 years regarding pain management leading up to surgeries.
