Dr. Khurana performed a successful sciatic surgery on me in Sept. of 2019. The surgery eliminated all and any pain almost immediately. It was so good, I did not need any follow up therapy. On June 1st, 2021 I had gotten out of my car, & after shutting the door I was hit by a car driven by a woman who was talking on the phone and crossed the parking dividing lines, striking me on the direct spot of my successful surgery. Since then I've been through therapy, and will most likely need another surgery. In my opinion Dr. Khurana is the best Spine Specialist in the Country, although I'm sure there are other excellent Surgeons. I highly recommend Dr. Khurana to anyone experiencing Orthopedic spinal problems. Respectfully M. Pappas

Dr Khurana has been very influential in my life and he is humble about it, that he probably doesn't realize that. I am a Spine and Sports Medicine physical therapist that has been helping people with debilitating spinal pain. I only bring that up because when I had back surgery, he demonstrated good bedside manner, compassion, expertise and most importantly, I've been able to perform at a high level... lifting weights and being active with three kids 15 years later. When I had to make the decision on who to do my spine surgery at age 28, (I am 42 now) I went and had consultations by the best. I was a spine specialist at that time and went to numerous conferences, so those were who I reached out to. I had second, third , and fourth opinions. Khurana was my fourth and he was the only one that showed compassionate care. Btw I had a disc that was sequestered (broke off). He taught me that being the best is not enough as a practitioner. It is important to also be compassionate and caring. To practice listening. We don't get taught this in school. I've referred my colleagues and patients to him and they come back with the same beautiful stories as you are reading. I hope Dr Khurana is reading this review and to know that he is truly a gem in this field. Wishing everyone who is reading this the best recovery. I know it's a scary place to be when you are in pain and deciding to have surgery or not, you don't know who to trust, and I hope this LONG over due review can help you.

Omg! Dr. Christopher Combs and his entire staff is awesome, I haven’t seen this kinda professional service in so many years thank you 🙏🏽 I had knee surgery 9/7/2022 and the doctor took good care of me he explained everything detail about my surgery and what to expect after words and always asked if I had any concerns or questions and his entire staff did there part from making sure my meds were sent to the pharmacy explaining everything to me also taking care of my disability and job paperwork. I wish it were more doctors and staff like them.

After a year of PT for my left knee , I could not walk anymore . I was recommended to Dr. Milstein & he had to do surgery on my left knee , I walked out of the surgery center with no pain, and 5 years later I’m pain free on that knee. Today I had to see him for my right knee. He saw me on time, attentive to my questions and explained to me clearly , the choices I have to heal that knee. I would definitely recommend Dr. Milstein.

This was my first experience with any doctor other than my GP. I had a ton of anxiety going in but Dr.Millstein was personable and patient as we discussed my issue and he assuaged any anxiety I had surrounding my visit and his recommendation going forward . He sat and listened patiently as I went through the list of questions I had and made sure I was satisfied with the answers before I left (I had convinced myself he was going to tell me I needed a knee replacement!!!). The experience was better than I even imagined it would be - and I get to keep my knee - lol.

This is a follow up review regarding my surgery on C3-C4, artificial disc placed August, 2018. I am so grateful for Dr Bae and team for the excellent results. As a busy Dentist, I was back to work in two weeks with complete mobility and zero pain. Dr Bae is dedicated to providing the utmost in spinal surgery.

I had an L2/L3 micro decompression with Dr. Khurana in May, 2022. All things considered, I could not be happier...of course wishing I wasn't in this boat, I found Dr. Khurana and his office superb. Kind, caring, knowledgeable, practical...they put the package together well. At the outset, we had some small issues with getting timely return calls, but that issue went away once we got really into the process. It's clear (in a very good way) that they do this for a living and really, really, really know what they are doing...the issues I had were, for them, commonplace. I guess that's where a patient wants things to be. Physically, I am vastly better (I can walk more than 50 yards again!) with some relatively minor residual nerve issues in my lower leg. Dr. Khurana is, again, very knowledgeable, considerate, caring, practical and communicative about those issues...in the real world (again, of course, wishing I didn't have them), I couldn't ask for anything more. Overall, I am extremely pleased to have chosen Dr. Khurana for my surgery.

Dr. Hyun Bae, MD is simply THE BEST at his craft and I saw a number of spine surgeons before I came to him as a last resort and I am so glad that I took that one more step to see him. All the other surgeons were recommending drastic procedures involving fusion of the lower back and I knew by my own instincts that it wasn't for me. My daughter found Dr. Bae when I had just about given up and was about to cave in to the other surgeons and I think she saved me from a life of pain because after surgery from Dr. Bae, I feel fantastic. I absolutely recommend that you see Dr. Bae and his outstanding staff at The Spine Institute before you have your back operated on by other physicians. This type of surgery should never be taken lightly and its important you see the best doctor out there to do it. Always get multiple opinions before deciding on a course of action for your own condition. It's funny but my daughter was in Chicago on business and she found out that Dr. Bae is well known even there and is super highly regarded for his work to help people with their spinal problems. I was referred to him and i am happy to say that i am now totally pain free, walking well, etc. My surgery was 2 weeks ago!!
