March 2025 update I love you, Doc! I’m back to doing two things I love - running and yoga! Had arthroscopy done on both of my hips now and I’m so happy. As long as you don’t have arthritis yet, this procedure is amazing if done properly, and this doctor is the best! 2022 Look no further, this is the doctor you want to see for your hip issues. I saw Dr. G almost a year ago after running my 25th marathon and developing pain in my right hip, I really did not want to do surgery and he gave me options to see if this pain will go away with physical therapy and no running. After six months of no results, I went back to Dr. G and he showed me on the x-ray that hip arthroscopy would be the best choice to fix the problem. I went to other famous orthopedic surgeons in Santa Monica and West LA for second and third and fourth opinions. And it would be fine to choose one of them for the surgery but going with Dr. G felt like the right choice. The level of care and attention you get from this doctor is well above average! He’s meticulous, thorough and has the first-hand experience of this procedure as a Patient. Him being a runner himself gave me confidence I can return to the sport I love.. His assistant Zohra is amazing, any questions - I get answers via emails promptly. She guided me through preparation for the surgery, post-op, etc. it’s six weeks post-op and the doctor saw me three times already to follow up on the progress of my recovery and physical therapy. I have been recommending him to my friends.

Dr Bhalla is the epitome of a proficient and caring physician. His new office suite is very nice - very peaceful and calming - a significant improvement over the previous location.

The office staff was very efficient and very courteous the nurse that helped me was also very pleasant. They answered all of my questions. The doctor was easy to talk to and answered the questions beyond my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend them for care . Being a physician myself I do not often rate doctors very highly but this doctor was great.

I visited Dr. Khurana for a 2nd opinion and in the process was won over to a new spine specialist. When my physical therapist recommended Dr. Khurana as someone I should get an opinion from, his was a name I’d heard many times over the years. He had a reputation as one of the top spine surgeons in the country. This was something I’d heard touted numerous times over the years. Selecting a doctor with Dr Khurana’s prominence to render a second opinion on a surgery I was scheduled to undergo was comforting to my unsettled mind. I was seeking confidence that the surgery I was about to undergo was appropriate. Alternatives approaches hadn’t been discussed and in the absence of such, I was left to assume surgery was my only option. I just didn’t know the degree of necessity. Was it absolutely necessary? Unsure as I was, I was racing toward another double ADR surgery. I already had double ADR surgery some years ago. Following through with the surgery as planned would render the majority of my cervical spine artificial. Was this even prudent? How many quadruple ADRs exist in the universe? What are the outcomes? I had questions and needed confirmation from another spine specialist that additional ADR surgery was my best course of action. Dr. Khurana analyzed my cervical imaging and surgical history. He reviewed his interpretations with me and my wife, provided us ample time to ask all the questions that had remained unanswered and in the end, it was Dr. Khurana opinion that I didn’t need surgery. Dr. Khurana explained his diagnosis and other more measured alternatives available to treat my case. My visit to Dr. Khurana was as relieving as it was revealing. I feel very fortunate to have turned to Dr. Khurana for answers. It was, in retrospect, a very good decision. Dr. Khurana may be a highly regarded spine surgeon, but he’s a good doctor because he understands the importance of communication and through it, connects. By comparison, It’s now obvious to me what I was missing in my relationship with my previous spine doctor – a human connection. In better hands, C

I cannot truly express my appreciation for Dr. Prem Ramkumar's work. I am 58 years old and consider myself very active. I am an avid cross-fitter and golfer. When I decided that I could no longer tolerate my knee pain, another doctor recommended Dr. Ramkumar for my knee replacement. Dr. Ramkumar outlined the surgery and my expectations for recovery. I have an annual golf trip in April, and he assured me that if I did my PT, I would have no problem making the trip. I scheduled surgery for January 6. Everything went as expected. What was remarkable to me was how quickly I could return to regular activities. Three weeks after surgery, I was able to resume my Peloton workouts, and less than six weeks after surgery, I played a full round of golf. I was also able to restart my CrossFit workouts (with some modifications) six weeks after surgery. Everyone is shocked at how quickly I was able to return to activities, and I believe that was only possible thanks to the work of Dr. Ramkumar. Please make no mistake about it -- knee surgery is a significant operation. Nothing comes easy, but his work made everything more manageable, and I am grateful for his expertise and excellence. I will soon schedule a replacement for my other knee with the doctor.

From moment one I was impressed with the Commons & Dr Eric Milstein due to his professional staff and their expeditious reply to voice mails. I had an incredibly painful shoulder and the staff worked to fit me in to Dr Milstein's busy schedule ASAP ! The Commons office is a very comfortable and inviting space--no hideous straight back chairs lined up in a windowless lobby ! A spacious area with various seating areas and a pleasant front desk staff. Dr Milstein himself is friendly, professional and direct. I have much confidence in his medical assessment and protocol for my very painful shoulder. After years with Kerlan Jobe (now Cedars) the circuitous phone messages to reach a human, the exorbitant wait times to actually see a Dr, the rushed brief visit once an appointment is secured with a doctor, Dr Milstein and his practice are a breath of fresh air !!! Also, very easy parking 100 out of 100 overall score ! P.S. I was even more impressed when the patient prior to me was a world renowned Doctor.
Eric S. Millstein, MD
Dr M. ROCKS!!! very attentive and thoughtful. He, and his entire staff, are extremely professional. He has no interest in pushing a "surgery is the only remedy", recommendation. I never feel rushed! Very relaxed and practical.
Eric S. Millstein, MD
Dr Khurana and staff were efficient, warm and welcoming. Did have to call to remind d them to send my diagnosis report.
