Dr. RAMKUMAR too great care of me. I got an appointment to have surgery on my knee rather quickly. He noticed I had body art around the area where ACL reconstruction would be at and made sure to do his best work as you can tell in the photos you can barely see a scar. He also did thorough explanation of what the surgery would fix. He made it a point to also make sure I keep on track with my physical therapy and to always check in with my physical therapist to see what my progress would be. Dr. RAMKUMAR also took the time to explain how long the process would be how much work I would need to put into it and what his plan was to get me back to as close to 100% as I possibly could. All in all, Dr. Ramkumar is a great surgeon and I would totally recommend him To anyone that has any questions about any injuries to their knees.

I am a very active 60-year old female. I have done several long (700-mile) thru hikes in other countries. The weight of the pack destroyed my kneecap. I was afraid I’d never get back to my walks around the world. Dr. Ramkumar saved me! He spent a lot of time listening to me and getting to know my lifestyle. He understood my desire to get back out to do what I love. I have been to other doctors who told me my long hikes were finished. Dr. Ramkumar went into surgery with the hopes of only having to replace the kneecap as opposed to the entire knee. But he explained that if he went in and saw too much damage, he would have to do the full replacement. In the end, the arthritis and damage was strictly under the kneecap. He saved the rest of the knee. It’s been three months since my surgery, and I’m about to go to Italy for a short, but exciting 7-day walk! My knee is great. Dr. Ramkumar is one of those special doctors who really really cares about his patients and their needs. I’ve never had a surgeon talk to me and listen to me as much as he did. I can’t recommend him enough to get you back to the life you want!

I am 4 days post-op from an XLIF performed by Dr. Khurana at the Commons Clinic. I am totally amazed how little discomfort I have following this procedure. From the time I started shopping for surgeons to address my spinal stenosis and spondylolisthesis, Dr. Khurana was my favorite. His style is personal, concise and thorough. He reviewed my images with me, explained what the problem was and gave me several options (all with corresponding pros&cons) to help me make the final decision. I never once felt pressured or intimidated into moving forward. Once I agreed to the surgery his team took care of everything. Each team member has a role and they all excel at communication. There was not one surprise or miscommunication. The surgical facility itself is top notch, super clean and the team of nurses are compassionate and experienced. They took such great care of me following my surgery. Once home and on my own I had checkins from the post-op coordinator and Dr. Khurana himself calling to check on me. Each day of recovery is better than the day before, which is far and away better than how I was prior to this surgery. I cannot recommend Dr. Khurana any higher, he is a first class surgeon!
