Horrible bedside manner. Walked into the room smelling like he was about to go out clubbing and with an open button down shirt where you could see his chest and "gold bling". Never listened to my issues, never looked at my imaging with him. He said, "why do I need to look for something another Dr saw? I make my fortune on operations like yours and this is something I cannot help you with." Dismissive and a MAJOR God complex. Did not even wash his hands when he entered my room nor sanitized. Fyi go to Beverly Hills Spine/DOCS on 3rd Street 8th Floor Dr Hill, Siddeque and the rest are far better choice in your health and spinal surgeries.

Did my sisters knee replacement three weeks ago. I can only compare her experience with my own knee replacement (not Dr. Combs). Dr Combs stapled the wound closed, something my doctor said only "lazy" doctors use. He removed her staples obviously too soon because every time she bends her knee for the last week it starts bleeding and oozing. A lot. My doctor was very concerned about the possibility of infection and was careful to cover the incision, but clearly Dr. Combs isn't. When she returned to his office with her bleeding scar they slapped some steri-strips on it and sent her on her way. We are talking to attorneys.

I had an absolute TERRIBLE experience with DR. Ramkumar! I went to him with excruciating hip pain after an accident. He took an X-ray and MISSED a fracture in my hip. Instead, he made fun of how the accident happened and started explaining to me nonsense about how Asians tend to develop hip arthritis later at an older age. I am not even Asian, I am Caucasian and another surgeon said I don’t have any problem in my hip genetically. I kept reminding him that this happened after an accident, yet he ignored me and guess what … he referred me to physical therapy! Hip fracture shouldn’t even be moved a bit otherwise it will be displaced and cause huge complications. Later on, we sent the X-rays to four different orthopedic surgeons and they all agreed that I had a hip fracture that needed surgery to be fixed and I should have avoided even putting weight on it. Had my fracture been left untreated, I would have needed a hip replacement at a very young age. This doctor was about to cost me my health and ability to walk with his ignorance and horrible diagnosis. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. THIS DOCTOR IS IN FACT DANGEROUS TO YOU AND YOUR HEALTH!

I saw Dr Bae in 2019. He said my surgery would be complex, and to come back when I couldn't stand the pain anymore. Well, today I called and found he no longer takes Medicare. I would now have to pay $250 for my first visit and $150 for every visit after. I was so disappointed as I thought Dr Bae cared for all his patients, but now only a certain group of people can afford to see him.

Wait time was too long. I was told "waiting fora room, but MD said he needed to talk longer with a pt. whose surgery did not go well. MD not prepared for the visit. Staff could be heard calling insurance companies and the name, address, birth date and phone number of patients could be heard, and I was sitting furthest from the front desk. This is a HIPPA violation! People coming in were frustrated as the data they uploaded prior to their visit was not in their charts. The office staff seemed disorganized.

Choose someone else. My father had his surgery April 6, 2022 - he tore his bicep tendon. On his follow up 4/11/22 the doctor commented why does your arm look that? She botched his surgery - literally looks like Popeyes arm. She then said never mind it’s fine, as long as you can bend it… we came to find out she did not do an MRI before surgery, this doctor ASSUMED what needs to be done and ended up not fixing the problem. What doctor goes into surgery without getting MRI done and checking everything? I’m telling you, choose someone else to get your family member or yourself surgery over her. This all went through workers compensation and it’s been a nightmare. It’s been one year and my dad’s arm is not fully functional and it even looks botched.

Very quick and impersonal care that seemed rushed. Didn't provide any additional care or information over what was already done at the ER over a month ago. For issues she only gave a short list of possibilities quickly, didn't elaborate much on them, and didn't offer any assistance in further steps or tests to find correct solution. Was not offered physical therapy recommendations for a broken bone, I had to actually ask for it. Very standoffish and rude when it came to discussing disability insurance. I will never be going back.

Just went for an initial visit and did not even get to see the doctor. The physicians assistant was very good, and when I asked if I could see him she said, 'Sure, he can come in to say Hi'.....so I left. What's the point of waiting to say "Hi"? This is not right.

Came here for a consult for disc surgery. He recommended to do only a disc replacement (which is a MAJOR surgery). After seeing multiple surgeons all I needed was a micro-Discectomy which fixed everything fine. Then they have gave the audacity to send a bill for $500 cash for a 5 minute appointment giving me bad advice. They charge insurance companies $150 for this. Clearly Bae only looks how for Bae and doesn't care about the patient.

I scheduled an appointment recently with Dr. Bae for a consultation regarding possible back surgery. I had specifically scheduled this appointment with Dr. Bae based on a recommendation from someone he had operated on. Instead of seeing Dr. Bae when I arrived, he had me see another doctor who worked with him, whom I'm believe he was training. After spending maybe 20 minutes with this other doctor, I was told that he would be consulting with Dr. Bae and that then Dr. Bae would come in. When Dr. Bae came in, he spent less than 5 minutes with telling me that I would not need surgery before he left the room. He did not review the results of my MRI with me, or really say much of anything other than that my back looked fine. It felt like pretty much a total waste of my time. I would never recommend Dr. Bae to anyone in need of a consultation for back surgery.

Recommended a surgery for me that nobody else out of 10 other doctors recommended. This was a red flag. I have also heard of many horror stories about the surgery he wanted to perform. Additionally, the office will overcharge you incredibly. I paid hundreds of dollars just to visit him where other offices charges in the around $30-40 for the same type of visit (no x-ray, no additional evaluations, no equipment provided). Keep in mind I have very good insurance. If you don't have good insurance, expect to pay a lot more of their overcharges. If I had to do it again, I would probably not go back to this office.

It took over a month to get an appointment. When this miracle day finally arrived I received a call from a “Scam Likely” number saying they couldn’t see me because a technician called out. Interesting that they charge you $25 for a cancellation fee but expect you to just grin and bear a last minute cancellation. Completely unprofessional. Avoid like the plague.

Dr. Bhalla, was the only spine surgeon ( in the office) while Dr.Yuan was on vacation. I had been a patient at memorial orthopaedic surgical group , for 6 yrs( 6 surgeries) my first surgery ( Dr Bhalla , assisted on) in which , I was re- admitted with MRSA. Dr. Bhalla refused , to see me! I was crying in pain, and his condescending staff thought it was funny. " we , asked he said he is not able, and willing to add you on the schedule " We are full" . I pleaded, nope. I had to go to the ER . Ct, scan , many attempts, to get pain back to manageable levels. Because, of the delay in care , I suffered longer and longer recovery from my "set back". Dr.Bhalla should have seen me,. Care, would have been consistent , and quicker. And, I may have been able to avoid the ER. The , whole incident was horrible, and upsetting. This lack of care, caught me off guard ( even. Though I'm a accustomed to receiving ( delayed, inconsistent , insensitive, and poor care since I became a patient here. I gave high reviews for pt, and Dr.Yuan for his surgical care. I was, not doing well at all , and in Excruciating pain, when I first started treatment with Dr. Yuan/ Jason Smith pt. Because, of this and how far I've come , I feel strongly my surgeries were worth it, and for the most part successful. ( I will always have pain, goal was always have tolerable/ manageable pain). I can walk , and with modifications related to my work ( so, far pain is in check) , walking longer( breaks , as needed. And, yes I have a regimen and also know what to do, when I have a flare up. I have had different medication's for nerve pain/ spasms, and moderate - high end pain. ( however, even though I stopped taking g them assp( pre/ post surgical , or flare up) they , often do not work. So, it's imperative for someone like me to receive care , in a timely and consistent manner from the same doctor, if not same office. At, the very least they could have quickly administered a toradol shot. In, the ER, I had to receive two, and oral medication ( editing too long was playing c"catch-up , for the entire visit. Show , care snd compassion. And prioritize patient care!

Forget the reviews skip this doctor!!!! Very very disappointing. It was suggested to me by a hospital doctor and a neurologist to see an orthopedic doctor. I chose Dr. Millstein myself based on reviews, and because of that waited over a month to see him. The issue is THEY KNEW I HAD A BACK AND NECK ISSUE (and serious numbness) and they made the appointment and then I waited yet another two hours when the day of finally arrived as he was overbooked (at least a few people had the exact same time appointment!) for absolutely nothing- the assistant brought in my mri put it up but he completely ignored it as Dr, Millstein asked if I was aware he was the wrong doctor. He is currently only seeing KNEE AND SHOULDER patients. Quelle joke!!! He immediately dismissed me and I asked if he was going to charge me anyway. He said yes!!!!! Amazing right???? Rip off the insurance company. Completely unethical. Angrily I decided to show him a knee injury. He had me go for an in house X-ray and said there was nothing he could do about this. Could it be he went to the wrong place years ago and took a hypocritic oath instead of hypocratic? I bet he charged my insurance a bundle for being the wrong ductir

Minimum wait 1 hr, usually 1.5 hrs to see Dr who will spend 5 min with you Staff unfriendly and disinterested in doing their job. Don’t expect a call back when leaving a message….won’t happen Too many other good Drs in LA to put up with this arrogance

Went to dr Estess for elbow pain and was referred to occupational therapy, which did very little to help over the course of 3 months. She did not care to review the reports nor to take time to examine me after the very first visit, although I went back to her multiple times complaining of worsening pain only to be dismissed after 5 minutes every appointment. I had also seen her for heel pain and loved the PT she referred me to so I asked for PT for my arms instead. After a few sessions, the PT told me I was having issues she wasn't able to help me resolve. Only then did Dr Estess order a nerve study for me, after 4-5 months of excruciating and worsening pain while performing my job and most activities of daily living. She continued to tell me that I can work through the "discomfort" and basically told me I was being a baby. According to her, I have a cushy desk job and get to work from home so I should be able to get things done even if my body was urgently warning me not to move my arms. I got fed up and switched to the hand doctor at the same practice, who actually spent time doing tests and giving me a diagnosis, and has finally fixed me up after many months of suffering. TL;DR: this doctor has no compassion and needs to learn to listen to her patients and to hand them over to appropriate care when she's out of her depth.

If you care about your health, your body, and your recovery, avoid this office at all costs. After waiting 1 month for an appointment he refused to listen to my concerns and dismissed them immediately. He was clearly trying to get in and out of the room as quick as possible. Shouldn't a doctor at least pretend like they care? Gave me no recommendations or medical advice either... Terrible experience and waste of my time.

Dr Hunt is extremely rude and dismissive. Based on my experience and other reviews, unless you need a major surgery, Dr Hunt doesn’t want to see you. The final straw was showing up to an appointment and having the receptionist tell me that I had called and cancelled my appointment because I wanted to see pain management. I had waited months for this appointment and do not want to see pain management. They offered to reschedule almost a month away. I told them not to worry about it, I would go somewhere else.

Getting a 400.00 bill after 2 months later is quite the shock! Already paid the co pay! Especially when I saw the doctor all of 15 minutes! No MRI only given a prescription for physical therapy, and meds. Humm so nerve racking Especially when your x husband referred this doctor than after 20 years cuts you off financially and canceled my autistic son and my health insurance!

We were referred to see Dr. Combs, but instead were switched to Dr. Ahn. My partner, who is disabled, was given the option not to have surgery on a recent break on her previously broken finger, but to put it in a cast. After the casting process, the bone was moved and healed at such a terrible angle it is now actually hitting the other bone in her hand. Now she has to have major surgery to correct the painful condition she is currently in due to their mismanagement of her case. Dr. Ahn actually said after this X-Ray that she was 75% healed and that she should just go out and buy a brace to put on it. She would have been better off if we had just put a brace on her hand ourselves.
