It is not often that you will meet a Dr. who will remind you of the good old days in the South, where you had friends to laugh and banter around with; that was my experience with Dr. Leonel Hunt. He not only understood the issue I was having with my back, he was honest and willing to help me get better and he also knew how to take a joke and to reply back with the same humor...Bravo Dr. Hunt!!! I'm usually very nervous the day of surgery you know, because of the risks involved!!! Well this Dr. made me feel so comfortable with his friendly banter, that I completely forgot that I was scared, I trusted him completely with my life... Thank you is never enough but Thank You again Dr. Leonel Hunt for choosing to be my surgeon, for choosing to perform my surgery and for being the beautiful, friendly, down to earth person your parents raised you to be, you're a true jewel and anyone who if fortunate enough to have you as their back surgeon will have found themselves and precious gem. I couldn’t be more pleased with my entire experience ( from initial pre-op evaluation to 3 month post-op appointment). I am a nurse, and felt extremely confident with Dr. Millstein’s surgical expertise and his manner in which he spoke to me. He thoroughly explained everything to me, and he took time to answer all my questions. My surgical outcome is wonderful. The entire office staff is consistently professional, helpful and friendly. I am extremely grateful that I was able to have my surgery with Dr. Millstein.

I could not recommend anyone better for spinal issues! His knowledge, care and follow thru are unsurpassed! He is VERY conservative in treatment and tries to rectify the problems without surgery. When I was under his care we did still need to do a double fusion on my neck after Epidurals and PT failed. He informed me that my range of motion might be slightly limited. Now, years later, it is as perfect as it was before I began having complications! Now, seeing him to help me with my lower back. I am confident that I'll be as good as new in no time!

Dr. Bhalla is a great communicator. He listens to me and is never rushed when I speak to me. I believe his number #1 quality is his empathy. He is always patient and never short with me. He is an expert surgeon and that is what I would expect of someone with his experience. There are many doctor's that don't have the caring,patience to take the time to listen and real really be present with their patients. I have had three epudurals and the 3rd did not work. I am going in for another tomorrow. I starting to think I will have the lamanotmy that he suggested would be the long term fix. He has never pushed me he simply lays out my options. I visited with him this morning and I now realize what I should do. I trust him and his expertise.

I had a fusion surgery with Dr. Khurana and I cannot speak more highly about him or his entire team. Dr. Khurana not only has exceptional clinical reasoning and surgical skills, but he has a phenomenal bed side manner. He is very confident and personable - both skills that I find essential in a surgeon. He offered a minimal invasive approach to surgery and a much quicker timeline for recovery - and that is due to his skill was a surgeon. I am feeling so much better than prior to surgery, and it has only been one week. I would recommend Dr. Khurana to anyone with spine related pain, and especially if they were considering surgery. Do it! See Dr. Khurana. Trust Dr. Khurana's judgement, his surgical skills and his up to date methods. I did and my mobility is significantly improved and my pain is significantly reduced. I tried all conservative approaches and consulted with many surgeons before I had the fortune of meeting Dr. Khurana. When he explained his approach to cervical and spinal health, I knew I found my surgeon. He is patient, personable and is an athlete who understands the importance of staying active. Everyone who works in his office (Amanda and Elaine :)) is knowledgable, professional and kind.

A bit frustrated by the office as I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance and was told my insurance covered my appointment (Anthem EPO; just FYI, they do take PPOs, but not EPOs), and I was not notified until I arrived that my insurance would not cover the appointment. I should have confirmed with my provider, but it's hard not to trust the people with experience at the front desk. Nevertheless, Dr. Millstein still saw me and didn't charge me. I only had a minor tendon injury in my foot, so it wasn't much to diagnose and for him to give me some basic advice, but I still found the fact that he would see me despite the mistake a sign of good character and a good doctor. He also offered to look at a list of orthopedists my insurance covers (from the Anthem site) and give his rec, something I thought was a good way to make up for the mistake. These things happen, and I think it speaks volumes as to how this practice is run that they did the best to accommodate me despite the confusion of our insurance system in this country, hence the 5 stars.

Dr. Millstein is a wonderful doctor. I went to him for knee replacement surgery, as well as for his opinion regarding rotator cuff surgery. He suggested that no surgery was necessary at this time. I trust Dr. M and his opinions.

I recently had spine surgery with Dr. Khurana. I had L5 fusion. My experience is so very positive. I have the utmost trust in Dr. Khurana's diagnostic and surgery skills. I was referred to him by a doctor who had back surgery himself with Dr. Khurana. I interviewed many spine surgeons before making my decision to have Dr. Khurana treat my spinal issues. So glad I did. When I met Dr. Eric Milstein, I felt, I was in good hands. The fact that he treat me with my knee problem and walk me thru everything I should know about what was going on and keep me inform with his awesome staff & very professional. The surgery was a successful, I was kind of nervous but is something what all feel. But with doctor Milstein made me feel very confident and more relax. Second acute orthopedic need. Calling Dr. Millstein was a no-brainer. Didn't matter that I am in-between insurance coverage, he gave me a great deal on the visit and said if I need to have surgery, he will help me find a doctor in-network that he would talk to about what I needed and make sure I was in good hands. What doctor goes above and beyond like that? This guy is everything you could want in a doctor - can you put a price on that peace of mind?

Dr, Bae changed my life!!!!! After seeing several outstanding back surgeons across the country, I chose Dr. Bae for my decompression back surgery after he explained in detail all of my options. On my first appointment I was using a walker and in severe pain...for over 6 months. I was nervous to have back surgery but he gave me confidence it would all be successful...and it was! The day after surgery I was walking normally and pain free. Its now been three months and trusting Dr. Bae was the best decision I've ever made. This 70yr old grandma now feels like she's 40 again.

- Visited Dr Hunt for 2nd opinion after another ( top, top rated spine doctor) recommended surgery for a herniated disc L3-L4. - Dr. Hunt reviewed the MRI and examined me and told me there was nothing wrong with my disc. The pain I was having was from my Sacroiliac joint and PT was all I needed. No surgery. - I'm writing this review 3 months after finishing PT; my pain issue has been successfully addressed. ** When I visited Dr.Hunt he took the time and explained very carefully what exactly was going on with me and answered all of my questions. He is a very confident and competent doctor. He is my guy going forward.

Thank you to Dr. Bhalla and the wonderful nursing and surgery teams at LB Memorial Care! I was in a lot of pain from herniated cervical discs going on several months. Rest, meds, PT was not improving so when I got my MRI and then an ortho surgery consult, I knew my situation was steadily getting worse and I was barely managing my day to day activities. However I'm pretty conservative with surgery as an option. Previous issues with carpal tunnel like symptoms had 2 hand surgeons wanting to cut me open with little discussion on why or how or preventative care or alternative options. So I'm a skeptic and firmly believe in researching and educating myself on not only the medical condition but also the practitioner treating me. What gave me no doubt to trust Dr. Bhalla beyond his credentials and extensive papers and research contributions was his ability to genuinely connect and convey trust. I've never met a surgeon who wasn't so talented and confident that it comes across as arrogant and that typically makes me distrust them. Not a great way to start a relationship where your way of life is literally in their hands. Dr. Bhalla was succinct but sincere and thorough with my endless questions of what when why how and what ifs. I think I even asked the same question in 3 different ways on 2 separate visits. The surgery went well along with my immediate and ongoing recovery so far. Pain free right after surgery and so grateful to have a great quality of life again. I've always told my own clients to never proceed with surgery or a doctor's treatment unless you completely trust them and the team and I followed my own advice here. Dr. Bhalla is an incredible doctor and surgeon, go to the consult and you'll see for yourself.

Not only was the x-ray technician and staff incredibly pleasant and efficent but, the images were immediatly available for the doctor to analyse and discuss with me.
