I met Dr Ortega a little over a year ago on my first appointment and afterwards I went down to my car and cried. Finally, I had hope that I could get my life back! I was so grateful that finally I was referred to a doctor that knew and understood everything I have been experiencing since 2017. Dr Ortega was very thorough in explaining the Cervical Radiculopathy ACDF procedure. I wanted to wait a year before writing this review and I have to tell you that it’s so wonderful to be able to sleep and to wake up and not have the constant pain and weakness in my neck and on my right arm and shoulder. The surgery and care afterwards was exceptional without any problems. Physical therapy in the same office was better than I have experienced elsewhere. They helped me get my strength back with stretches and exercises to maintain the muscle strength. Thank you Dr Ortega for truly giving me back my life!

Dr Ortega was the best spine surgeon i have ever had the privilege to meet. Thanks to him and his team, I am a walking miracle. I had used a walker for 10 yrs due to a previous failed spinal fusion and with a bent metal rod protruding from my back. Dr Ortega and his team did reconstructive surgery on my entire spine and thanks to him I am walking without a walker and rarely using a cane. I am fully active and even go to the gym 2-3 times a week. I travel, go on walks, workout and am told I look 20 yrs younger! Im 79 and just getting started! I am 74 year old. For a long time I had severe pain in right hip and leg due to the pinching of the sciatic nerve between 4 and 5 vertebrae of the spine. Physiotherapy and multiple pain relief injections did not help me. On the advice of doctors Zalkinder and Kievsky I contacted with doctor Leonel Hunt for concultation. Doctor Hunt explained to me in great detail how the surgery would be performed to free the nerve from the pinching. On July 18th this year doctor Hunt did surgery of LUMBAR LAMINOTOMY/FORAMINOTOMY, after which pains in my right hip and leg disappeared. Now I can walk freely, do housework, I will be able to walk with my dog after full recovery and look to the future with optimism and hope.I thank doctor Leonel Hunt from my heart. My most recent visit at the Westlake office left me a bit dissatisfied. Dr. Kamrava was obviously rushed and distracted due to an earlier personal matter. He did not seem to be as prepared as in previous appointments, even insisting I had received an ablation treatment I had not. He did finally agree to schedule an ablation treatment on my back and suggested on for my neck in the future, but failed to review my MRI to justify his decision. He did show concern for the amount of Advi I regularly took to relief my lower back pain and prescribed a 30 pill prescription of Tramadol as an alternative, with the instructions to take one to two pills daily. 45 days later with 10 pills to spare I asked for a refill but it took over 10 days for the pharmacy to finally get the doctor's approval after the request. I have an ablation scheduled for July 22, 2025. I hope it proves to be helpful.

After meeting with Dr Khurana he told me that he could help me with a disc replacement instead of fusing and caging my neck. My experience with Dr. Bae, and his staff has been nothing short of miraculous. The amount of pain I was in before my procedure was relentless, exhausting, and unlivable. Fusion of my entire cervical spine had been suggested by two Arizona prominent orthopedic surgeons. Dr. Bae replaced two disc in my neck and the change was noticeable immediately. When I woke from the anesthesia the first thing I noticed was no pain in my shoulder, arm, or hand. It was all gone. LThe only slight discomfort I had was from the surgical procedure itself, and with two Tylenol a day for a week I felt very little. I'm 63, and this was my first surgical procedure. I was very fortunate to find Dr. Bae and his staff.

Choosing a Spine surgeon is very important. Especially to select. the right one for you condition. Dr Khurana is certainly one of the most experienced and well trained spine/neurosurgeons. . Having been operated on by Dr Khurana 7 years ago, all my follow up visits have been easily made and each time received his personal attention. He carefully explains what the MRI or Xray or EMG test showed. Dr Khurana is not an alarmist and I appreciate that. As we all age, follow up is very important. I had to have another operation to relieve the terrible pain which restricted my walking. Now V it’s 5 weeks and I have no pain. Dr Khurana give me time when we are in the office and explains everything I am concerned about with the spine and related recovery. Dr Khurana is as good as any spine surgeon could be
