I found out I have frozen shoulder. She diagnosed and helped me through the process and gave me options. Very smart, kinda and well spoken. I appreciated her insight.

DR MILLSTEIN DID A PHYSICAL EXAM AND ORDERED XRAYS AND A CAT-SCAN. THE NURSE CALLED WITH THE RESULTS: NOTHING WAS BROKEN OR OUT OF PLACE. BOTH OF MY SHOULDERS STILL HURT. B. Brae

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I had a labram tear in my right shoulder that inevitably needed surgery. Dr Millstein, Mariana (his assistant), & the whole surgery center staff was absolutely amazing!

Good afternoon doctor Bhalla just wanna find out whether it's all possible to get out and start swinging my golf clubs and start working out. As far as feeling to my right hand and dumb my right shoulder I'm able to lift my arm up really nice and turning my neck back and forth. Also can I go to get acupuncture for my lower back . And also just hit me back with what date is all possible to come back and see you. Aloha, Thank You B. puluti

I don't really know where to begin. I was introduced to Dr. Khurana after injuring my neck and not having any strength/extreme pain in my shoulder. This was a Tuesday afternoon around 3pm. He reviewed my MRI and knowing the pain I was in insisted that his assistant schedule me for surgery Thursday that same week and not wait until Friday. I had a herniated disk. It was in pieces. It was only one day but it showed a lot about the doctor understanding his patients and doing what needs to be done to put them first. He answered all my questions, was honest about everything I asked him, and most importantly made me feel like I was his only patient despite having I believe 4 other procedures to do that day. I didn't even get a 2nd opinion...this guy was so impressive upon meeting him my father who is a physician and I decided it wasn't necessary. I handled zero paperwork, everything is done for you, what a pleasure. Lastly, I was back at work 4 days later. I was back playing 18 holes of golf 5 weeks post op. No rehab was necessary. I simply cannot say enough good things about this man. I thanked him 1000 times over and its still not enough. I am back to normal life. Dr. Khurana is the absolute best!!!!!

Best Orthopedic surgeon I have ever had the experience of being treated by! From the moment I called to make the appointment and spoke to Beth, until I left the office. Dr Millstein was down to earth, honest, professional and straightforward with me. I am in my 70's, have travelled extensively my entire life, so I've had a lot of experience with many types of doctors, with several broken bones in my life, I speak from experience. I highly recommend this wonderful surgeon (also the reviews demonstrate this along, with some of his previous and current patients with whom I spoke) And of course, it all trickles from the top, suggesting that every staff member in Dr Millstein's facility followed suite, all being kind, professional, efficient and caring. I had a torn rotator cuff and 3 out of 4 shredded tendons in my right shoulder. No more! So, in conclusion, go to the best orthopedic surgeon and staff I have ever encountered, Dr Millstein and his staff will put you at ease and change your life for the better, forever.

Dr. Millstein is the best. I’ve been seeing him for a number of injuries over the year. He’s great at diagnostics, conservative in treatment, and on the one injury that required surgery - a torn labrum in my shoulder - the recovery was fast and the shoulder is like new. Also a great guy. Highly recommend!

I was referred to Dr. Millstein from my internist / rheumatologist Dr Susan A. Baker...I had been having shoulder pain for 6-8 months from carrying cameras as a photographer on set for tv and movies...by the time I finally decided to see a doctor about my shoulder I was referred to Dr. Millstein...To say he’s excellent, kind, thorough and incredibly clear about what this issue is with your body is an understatement...he has a fantastic bed side manner and he took great care of me (and he has a wonderful dry wit)...Can’t recommend him enough!

Brought my Mom here today because she injured her shoulder! This guy (Dr. Millstein) was so friendly and Warm!!!! Felt like a friend of the family! His staff friendly too! Offered us water while we waited. My 86 year old Mom said “he must be from the old school” bedside manner. Bedside manner is a lost art, but he captured it completely! Thanks so much!!

He gave me all the information I needed to make the decision to get surgery. He was always available to talk to if I had any questions and his assistant was extremely accommodating. I ended up going with Dr. Millstein for many reasons for my shoulder surgery, but he was also recommended to me by my physical therapist and my other primary doctor. He is great.

Dr. Millstein has been my go-to doctor for my aches and pains. While he specializes in knee and shoulder issues, I know he’ll find the right option for me. I like him and trust him.

I could not be happier with Dr. Millstein and his staff. My shoulder replacement went smoothly, it has been six weeks since the surgery and I feel fantastic. That grinding bone on bone pain I had been living with is GONE! I have a soreness in my arm, but it is a result of the healing process. Not bad at all...and I must say I am progressing remarkably well. I will be setting up an appointment to do the other shoulder possibly by the end of this year. Now that I know what to expect I will not be as nervous as I was the first time. I just knew I was in good hands...thank you Dr. Millstein and Mariana!

I never followed up my review with an update, so here it is. I healed up great! The doc said I'd have 90% of what I had before, I actually think it's closer to 97%. There's a bit of pain if I really push my movement to the outer limits, like reaching way past overhead to the far left, but I have to try really hard to feel any pain. Super happy with the surgery. Here's a couple of tips for anyone that goes through this: 1. Follow aftercare instruction to a T. Be extra conservative. 2. Use the ice machine in your shoulder as often as recommended. 3. Try to wean off any pain medication ASAP so you don't get hooked on it. I was done in 3 days but kept taking the Toradol. 4. Expect to take a year or maybe a bit longer to be totally healed. Even then there may be some pain for awhile. This is NORMAL. Even a couple years is no big deal when you consider the pain you were in before surgery. Ok. Those are my tips. One more thing. When in his office he took an MRI of my left shoulder, even though he worked on the right. He said my acromion was getting long and going to likely start causing me pain. Well guess what? He was correct. I just had an MRI and will send him the results. I've been in pain for a few months and most recently I've experienced tingling in my left shoulder. Neck has been hurting too for around 8 months. So... I'll keep you posted. James :-)

The office staff was very friendly and helpful when I had questions regarding the Questionnaire. Dr. Millstein is personable and knowledgeable about my unique “shoulder” challenges. He treats issues conservatively, yet appropriately to my specific needs. He patiently listened to my concerns and agave meaningful feedback. I finally found the Doctor for me!!

I have been suffering from neck/arm pain for the past 8 mos. I've been to 3 different "experts" & no one would write a Rx for me to go in for MRIs...even though nothing else was working: epidurals, cortisone, meds. As a prior gymnast & dancer, I know my body & I know when I started losing the feeling down my hands & then my fingers started to get freezing cold, the problem was a lot more serious than the doctor I was seeing was seeing. I finally demanded he write ard for MRIs on both shoulders & my cervical spine & through some research was referred to Dr. Khurana - who, after taking one look at all my tests, reports, etc. said I needed emergency surgery or I'd end up with permanent nerve damage. I wonder - if my previous dr had listened to me - would I be in the situation I now find myself? Of course, we can't look back, only forward & I am so lucky that I was directed to Dr Khurana, who went over everything with me in great detail & explained the surgery so that even my husband, who doesn't know anything about anything re: medical terms, procedures & the like, completely understood & felt 100% confident when we left. The surgery is pretty extensive: Dr Khurana will be fusing my C3/4 & then totally replacing my discs at C5/6 & C6/7 & any time one goes in for surgery, especially anything related to the spine, it is nerve-wracking, to say the least. But everyone in the office - from the front desk to Amanda & Elaine &, especially, Dr Khurana made me feel like I was in the best hands possible. My appointment was on a Wednesday & Jessica, who schedules the surgeries, called me the next day & was able to get me in w/in a week - pretty unheard of these days. I go in tomorrow morning & have been told that, while the recovery may be pretty tough, I am expected to feel relief from the excruciating pain I've been living with pretty immediately. I can't thank the entire staff for making a scary situation less so. If you're reading this & have any issues with your spine, look no farther....Dr Khurana IS your man!

Dr. Millstein initially preformed shoulder surgery on me and we quickly developed a solid relationship. He is at the top of his game as a surgeon, a good listener, family man and responsive to all my inquiries. Subsequently, I have been back for my knee et al.

Eric Millstein is magical! I saw 5 doctors before going to him for a shoulder replacement. All doctors, including Eric said that the recovery is about 85%. I'm no spring chicken (nearly 70), very active and athletic, riddled with arthritis and I have had a 110% recovery! Yes! I have FULL range of motion. He is brilliant and a masterful technician. I am incomplete awe of him. I couldn't find my last review but that one too was filled with idol worship. I wish he could fix every part of my body that needs fixing!!!!!!!!

Dr. Bhalla is awesome!! I have several issues with my back, my left arm, and shoulder where bothering me in a serious way. I went in to get my shoulder looked at, Dr Thai referred me to Dr. Bhalla. My symptoms showed I had some type of neck injury. Less than a week after my MRI Dr. Bhalla discovered I had several damaged discs in my neck which created pressure on the nerves causing some paralysis in my left arm and hand. Dr. Bhalla replaced three discs in my neck and fused 4 vetebrae together with a cage. The surgery was done late afternoon evening, I was walking the next day at 8:00 am. I was home by 9/10 in the morning. 7 months later I am doing Great with this part of my spinal injuries. Jason and all the other physical therapists are also awesome! I have been to countless facilities over the years for my injuries this is best place you are going to find as far as I’m concerned to get fixed. Donald Demoray
