Hunt is a great Doctor. I suffered from chronic right lower back and right back hip pain for over 2 years and he fixed it. I was diagnosed from my MRI with Sciatic Nerve Pain where my nerves was hitting my vertebrate at L4-L5, obstructing my walking, and standing, causing me to have spasms running down my legs, thighs, knees and to the bottom of my feet; I would have to sit down when they occurred. > Dr. Hunt performed a Laminectomy and in 3 months I was during physical therapy and recovered fast. A few years ago I needed back surgery and I got to the point that I could barely walk or do much of anything. I went to three spine surgeons for opinions and I left two of the offices amazed at the suggested treatment plans. One surgeon said I needed anterior and posterior lumbar fusion, the second wanted to send me on the epidural merry go round with a pain pump. Thank goodness for Dr Bhalla- he was spot on with the most appropriate yet minimally invasive surgery. I was thrilled that they had a robot assisted protocal and the added gift of having Dr. S Bhalla ( father) assisting Dr. A Bhalla ( son). I was in and out of Long Beach Memorial quickly, and from the time I woke up from surgery had no pain, no complications had no trouble with rehab - although the surgery was so successful my recovery was fast. Years later- still no pain, great range of motion, ability to weight train with no issues etc. > I am still amazed at the outcome - in addition Dr. A and S are extremly compassionate and caring. I wonder if the added positive vibes help with recovery ? Straight to the point, no fluff which is preferred when you have an injury. Dr. Ramkumar RE-DID my mom's original knee replacement which was the incorrect size, yes... the first doctor put in the wrong size! Dr. Ramkumar fixed my mom's knee and she is doing amazing! Don't get me wrong, it has been a tough couple of months for her, but the pain is now gone and she's walking great! He will be doing her other knee in the next few months. If not the best he’s done two neck and two back surgeries on me and my experience at his facilities at the Commons was nothing short of a miracle. I was referred there by my friend Dr Gary Brazina i’ve had 100% recovery and have a new body to continue doing my extreme sports photos. Attached the efficiency of his office staff is incredible. I was terrified to have the surgeries done and now I would recommend him to anyone because he will fix your problems and take your pain away. incredible experience all the way around. With 100% success, my body feels like it’s 30 not 66 and I intend on continuing my extreme sports life. Thank you, Dr. Khurana and your office staff. After my first surgery, I was at a Laker game overall the results have been nothing short of a miracle. The facilities at the Commons are nicer than most five star hotels and his surgical team was incredible. The follow up is even better. If you’ve been waiting because you’re afraid of having your spine worked on, don’t wait any longer. This has been life-changing for me. The bulk of my injuries have been with me since my 20s from the athletics of the car. Accident didn’t help these injuries obtained through a life of incredible sports and I feel blessed to be able to continue although have retired from the pro water ski jumping, but we’ll still be doing the extreme snow skiing along with all my other sports paddle boarding ultimate frisbee pickle ball. This pain has disrupted my life, caused depression, anxiety, negated the quality of my life, where I’ve become withdrawn from participating in life, having lost my confidence and failing in getting daily accomplishments completed. > A week ago, my lumbar pain was a 16, (on a scale of 1 to 10). Because of the accident, I need surgery on cervical and lumbar regions. I opted to have the cervical surgery first. However, the thought of having this surgery did not give me any peace of mind. With time my lumbar spine pain greatly increased in severity, affecting my daily life and ability to sleep for 8 hours a night; (the pain would wake me up several times a night). Last week I had the first of two surgeries by Dr. Vokshoor; with Dr. Kamrava performing a lumbar epidural. The epidural results have been absolutely and instantaneously amazing. I hadn’t known about Dr. Kamrava’s successful work; and had anxiety and negative thoughts about the procedure. However, I did know enough to listen Dr. Vokshoor’s advice in having his trusted colleague, Dr. Kamrava perform the lumbar epidural. Post-surgery, it’s been 1-1/2 weeks and I have not experienced any lumbar pain. Personally, being pain free in my lumbar region is a miracle and I should’ve had this procedure over a year ago, but fear had held me back. (When experiencing severe pain, one becomes fearful and of the following mindset: if something happens during the epidural, (or surgery), then my pain will only become worse - … and I can barely take it like it is….’). Long-term pain is accompanied by any or all of the following: depression, anxiety and fear, loss of hope, anger etc., and more. I hope I have chosen my words properly, in communicating just how grateful I am to Dr. Kamrava, (as well as to Dr. Vokshoor). The quality of my life is changing. I have a lumbar surgery with Dr. Vokshoor on the horizon; and I can see hope and light at the end of the journey of surgeries. I will be able to move forward being structurally sound, say goodbye to chronic pain and with the precious time I have on earth; take my goals off of the top shelf and focus on them again. Just after having an MRI, Dr. Khurana took the time and go through what was going on and how to treat my condition in a very clear and understandable way. This was the third doctor I went to as the other two made no scene. I was fortunate to only have a minor situation, but it caused me a great deal of pain in my left leg to the point where sometimes I could not walk. Dr. Khurana and his team took care of this in an out-patient process that gave me immediate relief. The micro-surgery process healed in three days without any discomfort.
