After 20 years of hip pain and sometimes the struggle to rise or long walking distance, I decided to visit Dr.Ramkumar. From x-rays he took I found out I needed a hip replacement. From my initial visit , to pre op to post op, my experience with him and his office staff was great. I would highly recommend.

I’m 6 weeks post-op from a surgical hip dislocation surgery performed by Dr. Ramkumar. With this being my first surgery, I was very nervous. I was recently a patient of Dr. Ramkumar and I have to say he is one of the best doctors that I have ever had. His team is amazing as well. He never made me feel like he was in a rush to see another patient. He explained everything he would be doing in the surgery and answered any questions that I asked. After the surgery, he followed up with me a few times before the post-op appointment to make sure everything was going well after the surgery. He even reached out to me over the weekend to make sure all was well. The medical field has changed a lot, especially in the more recent years and I have to say, it is refreshing to have a doctor, and his staff, with excellent bedside manners and actually be genuine.

I had a partial knee replacement surgery on 10/16/2023. My recovery is amazing. Today (2 and a half weeks post-op, I am able to do 100% weight bearing on my surgical leg. I had minimal bruising post-op and pain was manageable. Along the way, Dr. Ramkumar was there and easily accessible via text messages. He is extremely attentive to my needs. When he advised me to consider partial knee vs. Total knee, he explained the logic for his recommendation. I respected his opinion and I am vey happy with the outcome. Dr. Lee spotted my broken bone on the same X-Ray where an Urgent Care facility had missed it. He then took another Xray to confirm, since urgent care had positioned me incorrectly. He's since provided solid follow-up and advice through my healing process.

I have had numerous spine issues and Dr. Khurana has operated on my spine every time. Dr. Khurana and his staff are really excellent in the care they have given me. A special shout-out to his Surgical Coordinator Jessica Gomez who always answers her phone and thoroughly answers my many questions. Dr. Khurana is an excellent surgeon that really cares, I highly recommend him and his top notch team. As a side note, at both my 3 month and 6 month follow up appointments there is no pain at all. Recent August 2023 edit: Also, it’s been a year now without pain and I feel terrific. So no more appointments are scheduled. Dr. Khurana said to call for an appointment only if needed. Truly a great caring surgeon.

Dr. Barlow is an outstanding physician. He has done numerous surgeries on my back and I have been satisfied to the extreme with his procedures. He explains what he’s going to do he checks up on you and when you have your follow up and you suggest certain therapies for you to do signed up for therapy. Dr. Bahalla is the outstanding position.

Dr. Khurana performed a successful sciatic surgery on me in Sept. of 2019. The surgery eliminated all and any pain almost immediately. It was so good, I did not need any follow up therapy. On June 1st, 2021 I had gotten out of my car, & after shutting the door I was hit by a car driven by a woman who was talking on the phone and crossed the parking dividing lines, striking me on the direct spot of my successful surgery. Since then I've been through therapy, and will most likely need another surgery. In my opinion Dr. Khurana is the best Spine Specialist in the Country, although I'm sure there are other excellent Surgeons. July 27, 2022 Lower back pain is gone, just mostly slight discomfort. Spinal fusion was performed on July 18, and I am out of Cedars Marina Del Rey Hospital and at California Rehabilitation Institute in Century City for a week now. I have had numerous spine surgeries in the past, all done by the very skillful Dr. Khurana. All of them have given me total pain relief within a week or two. No more serious pain meds are needed, just Gabapentin and Tylenol. I would very much like to thank Dr. Khurana and his skilled team for making my life pain free. Special thanks go to Surgical Coordinator Jessica Lopez who always took my calls, answered my numerous questions and scheduled my surgery date. Special thanks also to Noor Lakhani for ordering my meds prior to surgery and with helping me get placed with Cal Rehab...I'm very appreciative. Others deserve mentions as well, Elena De Silva who coordinated the delivery of my ice machine and helped me with my post operative back brace. And Bianca who also ordered my pre operative pain meds. And especially all those wonderful people at Cedars Marina Del Rey; the Anesthesiologist and all of the operating nurses and technicians. I am thankful for what you did for me. And I look forward to not seeing you in that environment again. But if I do, I know I will be well taken care of. Thanks again to Dr. Khurana...you were sensational.

Dr Leonel Hunt is an excellent surgeon and he has a great staff! I was suffering from an excruciating pain due to a torn disc that was pinching my nerves. My husband had called many surgeons in order to make an appointment for a potential surgery and all have given him sometimes within 2 months of wait. His staff was very kind after my husband was explaining how much pain I am suffering to email him as they were talking over the phone to see if he can see me soon. I was in his office 5 days after! It was obvious that he had studied my MRI images before coming into the room because he knew what exactly was wrong with me and spotted the areas I was suffering with pain.
