Dr. Bae has successfully removed three discs in my upper spine and saved me interminable suffering of tingling and pain in my fingers and hands on both sides! He is a surgical “artist”’ both technically and aesthetically. He is conservative in his diagnostic approach and careful to recommend all PT efforts be taken before resorting to surgery. INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE – Dr. Wassef, Jason his assistant and Mason from the Stryker MAKO team were amazing! Dr. Wassef is a highly respected and sough-after joint replacement surgeon and I am thrilled with the results. I have had several different kinds of surgeries but never experienced the level of technical detail from the medical evaluation, surgery analysis, pre-op training materials, nutritional recommendations, surgical preparation, exercise training videos and Dr. Wassef’s post-surgical care. I had a severely compromised knee with bone spurs and a second knee that was not much better so I scheduled to have both knees done about 12 weeks apart. I have had some friends and family members have different experiences with joint replacement so I decided if I am going to do this once I wanted the best surgeon I could find and did extensive research. Based on Dr. Wassef’s recommendation I committed to strength training before the surgery to help with the healing process and was amazed at my recovery. The support staff was very professional and you can tell Dr. Wassef is highly respected at the surgery center based on the number of comments I received about this patient outcomes.

Incredible knee - ACL and meniscus tears - surgery, thorough, she went beyond to check everything in my knee and found a tear she wouldn't have seen if she hadn't made the extra effort. my scarring is tiny and very impressive - still healing but I don't think it'll be visible to the naked eye. and she's got a sense of humour - rare in surgeons.

I couldn’t be happier with Dr. Ramkumar and his team. My knee injury was by far the worst injury I’ve ever had. It was scary and life altering. I needed a complete ACL reconstruction (using a patellar tendon graft), posterolateral corner reconstruction (using a cadaver ligament), and my peroneal nerve needed to be separated and released from my torn bicep femoris tendon that was pulling on it, causing me to experience foot drop. I have limited medical knowledge, but Dr. Ramkumar has always happily taken the time to explain the prognosis, plan of action, and future goals to me without hesitation or judgement. I really appreciate his straight-forward answers, even when they aren’t happy answers. He has been 100% real and honest with me throughout the entire process and I’m very grateful for that. I am 13 months post-op and my knee feels great! After a year of physical therapy and diligent work at home, I am seeing great improvements in my foot drop as well, a sign that the nerve he freed up is healing properly. I definitely recommend Dr. Ramkumar for anyone who needs knee or hip surgery or consultation. His confidence, knowledge, action plans, pre/post-op care, and staff are top notch!
