> Dr. Lee showed great thoughtfulness and respect. I broke my toe right before Christmas. He took the time to discuss my options and answer questions. Said he'd typically tape the broken toe to the next toe to help immobilize and align as it heals, but mine was in the 5% that are bad enough to recommend surgery to pin it. I try to avoid surgery when I can and he offered me that option with the fallback of reconstruction later on, if needed. We discussed the pro's and con's and I chose to skip surgery at that time. I kept the wrap on consistently and limited physical activity the next month and my toe was able to heal in alignment as hoped. I'm two months out now and it's healing even better than expected. Really grateful for such a kind and dignifying doctor.

> Dr Leonel Hunt is a nurturing caring but most of all an amazing surgeon. I have had two very serious operations one in which he helped save my life from a brain tumor and another spinal surgery to remove a spinal cord tumor which left me in the best of shape to go back to my regular lifestyle and running again

> Dr. Bhalla is a great communicator. He listens to me and is never rushed when I speak to me. I believe his number #1 quality is his empathy. He is always patient and never short with me. He is an expert surgeon and that is what I would expect of someone with his experience.
> There are many doctor's that don't have the caring, patience to take the time to listen and real really be present with their patients.
>
> I have had three epudurals and the 3rd did not work. I am going in for another tomorrow. I starting to think I will have the lamanotmy that he suggested would be the long term fix. He has never pushed me he simply lays out my options. I visited with him this morning and I now realize what I should do. I trust him and his expertise.

> Do it! See Dr. Khurana. Trust Dr. Khurana's judgement, his surgical skills and his up to date methods. I did and my mobility is significantly improved and my pain is significantly reduced. I tried all conservative approaches and consulted with many surgeons before I had the fortune of meeting Dr. Khurana. When he explained his approach to cervical and spinal health, I knew I found my surgeon. He is patient, personable and is an athlete who understands the importance of staying active. Everyone who works in his office (Amanda and Elaine :)) is knowledgable, professional and kind.

> In early 2017 I slipped on some ice and suffered a stable fracture of the L1 vert. Once the trauma of the fall settled and I thought I could return to normal, I soon discovered I'd never see normal again. The fall changed EVERYTHING, as most traumatic injuries do. I was also suffering from a bad knee I believe was exacerbated by the fall. About a year and a half after the fall, I went to see Dr. Bae on the recommendation of my Dr. He took a look at my MRI and noted I had a bone spur hitting the nerve someplace below the L1 where the break was, something others had missed (bulging discs, not much to do about it). He assured me this was easy to fix and I'd be good as new. BACK SURGERY!!! AHHHHH!!!! I was terrified. He noted that while I had some disc degeneration, he felt my spine overall looked no worse than someone else's my age, or his even, which made me feel good--he's young.
>
> Anyway, in November 2018 I had surgery to fix the bone spur. I've had several surgeries in my life and I woke up sick and out of it every time. This time I woke up like I just had the best nap of my life. I was up and going to the bathroom shortly after I woke up and I was home a few hours later. The office follow-up was great, and I thank Lisa Cano for her kindness and thoroughness during a small rough patch about three weeks post surgery.
>
> I'd been feeling a little blah and I could tell I was retaining water throughout my body. I just felt...swollen. I got a massage, and while the masseuse was very careful around the incision, she moved things around, as massage will do. A few hours passed and as I got up from the couch to go to bed, my back was wet. Long story short, the incision opened up and was leaking fluid. I immediately called the office (around 9pm, so it was the exchange I got), and Lisa called back immediately, asked me to take a picture, then told me how to cover it, etc. and had me come in the following morning. Dr. Bae was extremely concerned, said he'd never seen this so far out post surgery. He was NOT dismissive or cavalier, which I appreciated. His concern actually made me calmer about it (we can address the psychology of that another time) He swabbed for infection, then dressed it and sent me home with dressings and orders to take pictures after every dressing change. Within a day or two he called and said he wanted to go back in and surgically put a drain in. I finished a round of antibiotics he normally gives post surgery, and he put me on a second round. I was very against going under again, and within a few days the incision began tunneling. It was clear I had an infection but it wasn't bad enough to make me ill-no fever, no pain to speak of, just a little uncomfortable and a lot unnerving. He finally prescribed a different, stronger antibiotic and within a couple of days the tunneling stopped and the incision closed.
>
> These things happen. Drs work diligently to prevent infection, but it happens. The competency and care I experienced with Dr. Bae and his PA Lisa cannot be overstated. I was not worried for a second, and when I objected to going under again for the drain, Dr. Bae was firm that we shouldn't wait too long, but he didn't push. I sent Lisa gross pictures of the wound and the bandages every day, and it was enough to ruin the strongest of stomachs. Her communication was right on, and frequent.
>
> Saving the best for last, my back is good as new. The only negative was that with a repaired back my knee situation came to the forefront and proceeded to cause me suffering the back couldn't hold a candle to. I got that taken care of in September of 2019 (see my review of Dr Andrew Yun).
>
> I cannot say enough about Dr. Bae and his staff. He is just wonderful and he'll be my go-to if any future issues arise.

I would never have had another foot surgery, but, I had to correct the mistakes of another inept doctor. A difficult task that Dr. Lee did with grace and humility. > Dr. Bhalla is a wonderful spine specialist! It was a big decision to have back surgery but I had lost the ability to carry on many normal activities in my daily life, and I was living with horrible pain. He not only addressed all of my concerns and fears, but he accomplished the surgery with amazing expertise! He has a very caring and calm demeanor, and I couldn't be happier with my results! I have never experienced that horrible pain since my surgery -- even in the early days of my recovery. I would recommend Dr. Bhalla to anybody in need of spine excellent care! He's the BEST!!

> Wen't into Dr. Lee's office a few days after I had torn my Achilles Tendon. All the nurses and staff were very friendly and helpful. Everyone in the staff is very easy to work with. Dr. Lee explained our options and did a great job of explaining the pros and cons. His bedside manner is excellent and he is a great listener as well. I elected to have surgery and he explained the process. They put me in a boot until it was time for surgery and the staff was very helpful in getting us a handicap sticker. I was amazed when I took off my cast off and I saw the scar. It looked great. I was able to attend physical therapy in the same building and Dr. Lee's office was with me every step of the way. When COVID-19 happened and the office was closed Dr. Lee even called me to check in on my progress.
>
> My wife broke her ankle a few years ago and still has hardware in her leg that sometimes gets aggravated. We are planning to go back to Dr. Lee's office to have it removed.
>
> All in all Dr. Lee is the best surgeon I have ever met. He is very skilled at his craft and great with people. I would give him a 10/10 and highly recommend him to anyone who needs help!
>
> Thanks Dr. Lee!

> I have been dealing with spinal issues since 2009 and thanks to the wonderful expertise of Dr Khurana, it has been a lot more manageable. I had a microdisectomy on my L4-5 region in 2012 & most recently (July 2020), cervical ADR 3/4. Both times I felt instant relief and very minimal post surgical pain. Thanks to him, have been able to live a quality life with minimal disruption. A brilliant surgeon and an equally caring/kind gentleman, I will always be forever grateful for his compassionate care he has given me from the very beginning

> Dr. Millstein is an excellent doctor. I went to see him for two separate medical problems which he diagnosed quickly and accurately. I'm now well on my way to getting back to a performance level of 100%. He has an excellent bedside manner, thouroughly explaining my injuries so that I could understand the issues. He also went above and beyond in helping my 80-year-old mother with an orthopedic issue during this very challenging COVID-19 environment. I can't give him enough stars!!

> I someb managed to mess up my back pretty bad Memorial Day weekend. I contacted dr Bhalla's office on a Tuesday morning and got an appointment for the next day. He scheduled me for a MRI on Thursday. Got results Friday morning and the GOOD doctor said I needed surgery. My pain level on a 1-10 scale was approximately 17! He got his team together and managed to get me into the hospital that afternoon and performed surgery at 6:00AM the following day. When I recovered from the anesthetic the pain was gone. It's important to note the he had things on his agenda that took him out of the country but that did not stop him from making a follow up call to assure all was well. He also arranged for my release the next day. I'm grateful to have had a skilled and caring doctor. Hopefully I won't need his surgical skills in the future.
>
> Well, I had another problem with my lower back that required the GOOD doctor do another surgery in January. As hoped and believed, it had great results. I just left his office about 20 minutes ago for a follow up check and ALL IS WELL!!
