There is no doubt Dr. Khurana is one of the most talented spine surgeons in the country. However, his talents go far beyond his surgical skills. By way of background, I had an artificial disc replacement at the L5-S1 level. After a decade of countless epidurals and two microdiscetomies, I finally opted for surgery. Everything went as planned. To say “Dr Khurana has been there every step of the way” is a massive understatement. He has called me numerous times post-surgery to ask how I’m doing and walk me through what to expect next from my body during the recovery. I have never encountered such a thoughtful and caring doctor in all my years. You can hear it in his voice and more importantly see it in his actions. I couldn’t be more thankful for what he has done to get me through both my surgery and my ongoing recovery. Now for his staff. I have to thank Jessica and Nancy for making the pre-op process so smooth. They walked me through the process and helped me take care of everything I needed to do prior to the surgery. I have to give a special thank you to Jessica for dealing with my insurance company. It feels like an on-going battle, but I have a feeling all will work out with Jessica fighting by my side. Saving the best for last…I can’t thank Marineh enough for all the support and care she has given me. She is an absolute superstar!! I text or call her almost every day. She answers every time without delay and helps me in any way she can. She inspires a sense of calm and confidence. She embodies the definition of compassion. The long and the short of it is that Dr. Khurana and his staff are hands down the best team in the country. Putting my spine in their hands has been the best decision I have ever made.

Dr Khurana is a brilliant surgeon always on top of the latest techniques and minimally invasive procedures….and he is an incredibly caring and kind human, as well ! After 2 super successful spine surgeries in 2014 with Dr Khurana, there was no doubt he was my go-to for some new back pain I was experiencing recently. There is no other spine surgeon I trust more. Dr Khurana reviewed my new MRIs with me and patiently consulted with me on his thoughts for next steps . He is the most professional, kind and surgeon and I cannot recommend him more highly. Without question the most capable, professional and caring neurosurgeon a patient could ever hope for. I had my first surgery with him, a cervical fusion, in 2005, followed by a second one, a lumbar fusion in 2010. Going from truly unbearable pain which in both cases went on for months, following my procedures I woke up nearly 100% cured; an absolute miracle of relief. It's been 13 years since my last surgery, and my congenital issues have again reared their ugly heads. I flew from Portland, Maine last week to see him and was once again comforted entirely by his extraordinary kindness and understanding, his bedside manner exceptional as always, and I'm planning my next fusion one level up. Beginning with his office staff, Nancy And everyone else with whom I've had the pleasure of dealing, Dr. Khurana's practice practice is second to none. I literally trust him (and his exceptional office support ) with my life. Exceptional, compassionate care! Dr. Khurana is a patient, kind, wildly competent surgeon. He instills confidence. Many great surgeons lack bedside manner. Dr. Khurana delivers in all aspects. 10 days after 3 cervical spine disc replacements, virtually all of my major pain symptoms associated with severe foramimal stenosis are gone. I will be forever grateful to him and his crew. The staff in the surgical center were also truly outstanding. I’ve been told I can be a “tough customer.” I can tell you Dr. Khurana and company far exceeded all my expectations-which were high to begin with! May all the good Dr. Khurana and staff do come back to them in abundance…

This doctor is a gifted medical magician. I suffered for years with neck pain from a pinched nerve. I couldn't even turn to back up in my car. Rather than neck surgery he did a nerve ablation and all symptoms are gone for years now. He also does great epidural injections for stenosis. Great bedside manner. Assistant Nora is hard working and responsive. What more could you ask for?

I am so grateful to Dr. Khurana and his staff. I am leaving on a lengthy trip today but a couple of days ago my back was so painful I was worried I had reinjured it and I wouldn’t be safe to travel. When I called the office and spoke with Nancy, she was unbelievably accommodating and arranged an MRI the same evening. Then, she squeezed me into Dr. Khurana’s busy schedule the following day!!! I received great treatment from Dr. Khurana and he confirmed that I was able to travel!!! I am soooo very grateful to Nancy, David and Dr. Khurana for their compassion, sensitivity and treatment.
