I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Ramkumar and his entire team! From my very first appointment through surgery and recovery, I was in great hands and felt truly cared for. Not only is Dr. Ramkumar meticulous and skilled with the actual surgery, he and his team are kind, professional, knowledgeable, and experienced in all that they do. I couldn’t ask for a better surgical team! They took the time to explain everything and made me feel confident every step of the way. They were responsive and thorough when I had any questions or concerns - you can tell they genuinely care about their patients. I initially injured my knee in January and had two subsequent injuries before I finally got an MRI in July that confirmed a full ACL tear. I had done a number on my knee. I was beginning to feel defeated because I am a pretty active person and wasn’t able to do the activities that I love, like CrossFit and volleyball. Once I met with Dr. Ramkumar, I immediately knew he was the surgeon for me. He empathized with my concerns of wanting to get back to my active lifestyle, gave me hope that I would be able to get back to it, and built my confidence in getting the surgery. My full ACL repair (BTB patellar graft) and meniscus root repair went smoothly and my recovery has been going amazingly so far. I’m already feeling stronger just 4 months post op and am so excited to eventually get back to my pre op activity levels. Many people are amazed by my progress! The pain was minimal even immediately after surgery, which was a pleasant surprise. Choosing Dr. Ramkumar was one of the best decisions I could have made and I would 100% recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic care, especially athletes.

Just so happened to stumble upon this clinic and get scheduled with the soonest available appointment and it was with Dr Ramkumar, I am so blessed. Being an athlete, I was training for a half marathon when my knees didn’t feel right..shortly thereafter my pain transferred to my hip, resulting in the diagnosis of a bilateral hip impingement, Dr Ramkumar’s expertise. Surgery has always been my last resort, but once Dr Ramkumar went over the explanation clearly and concisely, I felt that I was in good hands and immediately decided to pursue with the arthroscopic surgery. He explained my diagnosis in simple human terms that allowed it easy to understand and made sure all of my questions were answered. I was honestly amazed by how smoothly everything went and how quickly I healed, which truly speaks to his precision and skill in the operating room. Beyond being an incredibly talented surgeon, Dr. Ramkumar is also such a light-hearted, kind human who genuinely cares about his patients as people, not just cases. He took the time to listen to my story, understand my goals as an athlete, and support me every step of the way. He is such a caring surgeon, if not the most caring surgeon I’ve had, from pre-op to post op appointments, it’s always a joy to be in his clinic.

I can honestly say I’ve never had a more pleasant experience while dealing with a Doctors office. From the original scheduling calls to meeting with Dr Bae everyone has been kind and professional. I believe you can tell alot about a Doctor (or any employer) by the attitude of their staff. Everyone I’ve spoken to or met (including Dr Bae) have been very upbeat. It seems like the entire staff is happy to be there and to care for you as a person and patient. I got stuck in traffic on the way in from LaQuinta. Called the office to let them know and was told not to worry they’d see me when I arrived. Spent maybe 5 min waiting on arrival. Once in the room I had 1 nurse, 1 nurse practitioner enter immediately and Dr Bae with in minutes. Because of this efficiency I was back on the road within the hr. Dr Bae and his team explained my problems and came up with a plan they I totally agree with. I finally feel like my problems can and will be fixed. Looking forward to being able to finally move forward.

To begin with the staff was wonderful. His new office space is modern and spacious. It was also impressive that Dr Millistein has a technician on site for X-rays. Dr. Millstein is amazing doctor. He did my right knee about a year ago and it’s in fantastic condition. I tell people it’s biotic. Lol. Today I’m celebrating the 14th day since my anterior Total Hip Replacement with Dr Ramkumar! My recovery has vastly exceeded what I had hoped for in this short time. I thank Dr Ramkumar for his excellent surgical skills & abilities, but also, for preparing me in the months pre-surgery through his excellent educational website which guided me each step of the way. As the surgery approached, any questions I had were answered quickly by email through Stephanie and Margo. My appointments with Dr Ramkumar were never rushed, he is very approachable! All my questions for him were answered in a way I could easily understand, even though they were regarding complex robotic surgery. I’m 67 years old & my world had become very narrow & restricted due to the often debilitating pain & range of motion which prevented me from even simple walks with my pup. It was a bad place to be, but each day of my recovery this 2nd week has opened my world back up to where I can once again see myself having new adventures, social activities & hobbies! As for the pain, I didn’t need narcotic pain medication past the 2nd day post-surgery. My pain is simply managed by Tylenol & is really nothing compared to the pain before surgery! I was released from the walker last week & today my PT allowed me to walk around inside the house without my cane! Thank you Dr Ramkumar! I would highly recommend him, especially to anyone who is interested in having an active part in their hip replacement journey!
