In July, 2023, Dr Bhalla referred me to Dr Karp for injections for my spinal stenosis pain. This was my 4th injection. The last 3 were not successful. Dr Karp did the procedure on Aug 25, 2023. The pain has lessened a lot. For the first time in 2 years I have days with no pain in my right buttock and leg when walking. Other days pain level is 2/3. I still cannot stand for any length of time. I experience pain when standing which is relieved by sitting. I use a cane and walker at home and a rollator when going to medical appointments.

Dr. Millstein and his staff are amazing. They really understand how to treat a patient. I've had my knee replaced and am back on the Tennis Courts beating people half my age. Dr. Millstein did an amazing job. He starts with best non invasive approach to help including physical therapy and then suggest other treatments only as needed. If you need a cortisone injection Dr. Millstein is the best at hitting the ‘right spot.’ Everyone there is very organized, I’ve never waited long. I’m very happy with their treatment and would recommend them to anyone having Orthopedic issues and pain.

I have had numerous spine issues and Dr. Khurana has operated on my spine every time. Dr. Khurana and his staff are really excellent in the care they have given me. A special shout-out to his Surgical Coordinator Jessica Gomez who always answers her phone and thoroughly answers my many questions. Dr. Khurana is an excellent surgeon that really cares, I highly recommend him and his top notch team. As a side note, at both my 3 month and 6 month follow up appointments there is no pain at all. Recent August 2023 edit: Also, it’s been a year now without pain and I feel terrific. So no more appointments are scheduled. Dr. Khurana said to call for an appointment only if needed. Truly a great caring surgeon.

I have a few medical issues that I’m trying to work through. Seeing the related doctors as scheduled and spending enough time with him or her is crucial to convey my problem. Couple of times I spent my visit with the PA only. One of them was with a spine surgeon at UCLA health. He didn’t bother to stop by so I had to settle with a young doctor want to be with my complicated spine problem. He was vey nice and nothing personal, but I quit going to see this spine surgeon since he didn’t value to see me even if there was nothing he could do. I like doctor Khurana for his personal engagement in details, and conservative approach rather than jumping for surgery! I have heard nothin but him being a trustworthy doctor. Thanks Karim

I have NEVER written a yelp review for a Dr. but I wanted to share the experience I had with Dr. Millstein and his entire staff. I unfortunately slipped and fractured 2 bones in my leg. Having never had anything more than a paper cut in all my life I was terrified. I could not have been referred to a better Dr. !!! From my first visit, Dr. Millstein was personable and patient as he SAT and walked me through the x-ray of my leg, explaining the bone(s) I fractured, how they "work", what the recovery process would look like and even the symptoms I might have as I recovered. Without knowing it, this is exactly what I needed...details. He didn't try to rush the healing process but encouraged me (when it was time and the bone had healed) to do what "felt right" as I began to move away from the crutches and the boot. This may sound elementary and expected and if it is - great! However, I've had my share of annual office visits to the Dr. over the years and the totality of all of those visits pales in comparison to exceptional service of Dr. Millstein and the Commons Clinic staff. From the greeting from the front office and the respect of your time (not even a 15 min wait to be seen) to entire back office staff - they are all following the example he is setting. Everyone makes you feel like they are there to help which is an awesome feeling when you are down and wobbling around on crutches! If (God forbid) you ever break a leg, run (no pun intended) to the Commons Clinic and see Dr. Eric Millstein. Tell them Violet sent you...You will Thank me later!

From the very beginning of scheduling appointments to paperwork needing to be done, the entire staff went above and beyond. This also made the process of traveling 4 hours to get there worth it !! Thank you Marineh Arakel, NP, Marjorie, Frank ,Bianca and the entire staff along the way. Dr Khurana explained the entire process to us . Left us with no questions before surgery. I have been a patient of Dr.Combs for years. He repaired my meniscus in my right knee around 2006, then I tore it again. He put symzisc1 in my knee it lasted about 7 years. Recently he put Durlane in my knee didn't help. The staff got me an MRI in a week and waiting to see what is next. Dr. Combs is a get listener and honest.

Without question the most capable, professional and caring neurosurgeon a patient could ever hope for. I had my first surgery with him, a cervical fusion, in 2005, followed by a second one, a lumbar fusion in 2010. Going from truly unbearable pain which in both cases went on for months, following my procedures I woke up nearly 100% cured; an absolute miracle of relief. It's been 13 years since my last surgery, and my congenital issues have again reared their ugly heads. I flew from Portland, Maine last week to see him and was once again comforted entirely by his extraordinary kindness and understanding, his bedside manner exceptional as always, and I'm planning my next fusion one level up. Beginning with his office staff, Nancy And everyone else with whom I've had the pleasure of dealing, Dr. Khurana's practice practice is second to none. I literally trust him (and his exceptional office support ) with my life. Make an appointment and be prepared to wait a bit sometimes, but be confident in knowing that when it's your turn he will give you all the time in the world. There could truly be no more outstanding, talented, informative, personable surgeon, and I feel so fortunate to have found him. 💙

Dr. Bhalla is amazing! He fit me into his schedule by the next day (Tuesday) and had me scheduled for surgery by Friday. Don't know what I would have done, if I hadn't found Dr. Bhalla. Although I haven't seen Dr. Millstein yet and I'm literally just sitting in the waiting room, I had to share my experience thus far with this unbelievable office. Three days ago I fell and broke my wrists, collarbone and a rib. After a quick ER visit, I was told to find an orthopedic specialist to determine what to do next. I called every office around Venice and unfortunately was rejected by all of them because "we don't take new patients at the moment"... I explained that I'm in incredible pain but no luck. Until I called Dr. Eric Millstein's office! The reception ladies were the sweetest and understood my situation and made a true effort to get me in ASAP. Insurance, payments and other items were far from being a priority. I felt like they genuinely wanted to help. The intake form portal and X-ray uploading platform were very user-friendly and it took me less than 5 min to complete it all. They booked me an appointment a week out but kept on updating me on cancellations. A day later a Susie answered my call and was able to squeeze me in to see the Dr. (I can't even describe to you how sweet and helpful this woman is!!) Schevobnn checked me in with the outmost professionalism and I'm currently waiting for the Dr. Highly recommended

I am so grateful to Dr. Khurana and his staff. I am leaving on a lengthy trip today but a couple of days ago my back was so painful I was worried I had reinjured it and I wouldn’t be safe to travel. When I called the office and spoke with Nancy, she was unbelievably accommodating and arranged an MRI the same evening. Then, she squeezed me into Dr. Khurana’s busy schedule the following day!!! I received great treatment from Dr. Khurana and he confirmed that I was able to travel!!! I am soooo very grateful to Nancy, David and Dr. Khurana for their compassion, sensitivity and treatment. Extremely efficient front office. Saw the doctor within eight minutes of my appointment time. He had downloaded all of the relevant imaging and was ready with his diagnosis when he walked in with his tablet.
