In April 2024, my husband Marty had a horrible accident and tore his hamstrings. Dr Ramkumar made the time to see him right away, he went through the surgery process and what it would entail. On the day of surgery he spent time explaining the process again. On his site, Dr Ramkumar has detailed post surgery instructions as to what to expect each week, what activities can be done and when. The instructions are thorough. We were pleased with Dr Ramkumar throughout Marty’s surgery and healing process. If we had questions or concerns, Dr Ramkumar was there with the answer. Marty is back at the gym and doing activities he enjoys!

I had a very severe bucket handle meniscus tear, which Dr. Ramkumar was, amazingly, able to repair instead of having to remove it. Recovery has gone well and I'm back to the gym, biking, etc.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Ramkumar and his team. I recently underwent a femoral osteoplasty and hip labrum repair to address longstanding pain that affected my knee, hip, and lower back. I am now two weeks post-operation, and the results have been nothing short of life changing. Per the doctor's guidance, I have been on the stationary bike daily, logging 10–15 miles at zero resistance. While the first few days were uncomfortable, the emphasis on early, controlled movement made an enormous difference in my recovery. I am now cleared to walk without a brace or crutches, and I am experiencing virtually no pain just sixteen days after surgery. I would recommend Dr Ramkumar 100 out of 100 times without hesitation. This was my 2nd ACL reconstruction. My first was 9 years ago on my other knee with a different ortho. I was expecting a tougher, more painful and longer recovery now at the age of 35 than my first one at 26 and I was pleasantly surprised at how wrong I was. This time around, pain has hardly been an issue and I’m back on my feet much faster. Dr Ramkumar and has team are there to answer any questions and most of the time the info can be found on his website. He’s very clear on what he needs you to do in your first days and weeks post surgery and I believe it played a massive role in getting me off crutches in only 2 weeks. I have already recommended a neighbor to him and won’t hesitate again if anyone else asks.

Today I’m celebrating the 14th day since my anterior Total Hip Replacement with Dr Ramkumar! My recovery has vastly exceeded what I had hoped for in this short time. I thank Dr Ramkumar for his excellent surgical skills & abilities, but also, for preparing me in the months pre-surgery through his excellent educational website which guided me each step of the way. As the surgery approached, any questions I had were answered quickly by email through Stephanie and Margo. My appointments with Dr Ramkumar were never rushed, he is very approachable! All my questions for him were answered in a way I could easily understand, even though they were regarding complex robotic surgery. I’m 67 years old & my world had become very narrow & restricted due to the often debilitating pain & range of motion which prevented me from even simple walks with my pup. It was a bad place to be, but each day of my recovery this 2nd week has opened my world back up to where I can once again see myself having new adventures, social activities & hobbies! As for the pain, I didn’t need narcotic pain medication past the 2nd day post-surgery. My pain is simply managed by Tylenol & is really nothing compared to the pain before surgery! I was released from the walker last week & today my PT allowed me to walk around inside the house without my cane! Thank you Dr Ramkumar! I would highly recommend him, especially to anyone who is interested in having an active part in their hip replacement journey!

Just an artist at what he does precise in detail and pride. My hips had collapsed totally he replaced them both with the latest technique robot assisted. And now the sever pain is completely gone .walking normal and my back pain is also gone ! Used to suffer from sever muscular pain lower lumbar for years bad sclerosis but once I got my new titanium hips back pain gone my bad hips where causing severe pain in my back , I am so grateful for this genius of a surgeon. The procedure was minimally invasive so the recovery time was only weeks. Within 6 weeks I was walking & hiking all over London without any pain or discomfort. I tore my ACL, LCL, and medial meniscus during flag football and was referred to Dr. Ramkumar, I would recommend him 10/10. From my very first visit, he was straightforward, transparent, and took the time to explain my options while answering all my questions. I had surgery in February this year, and he made it clear that while he would do everything he could on his end, the real work would be up to me. Pre-op and post-op, Dr. Ramkumar provided a detailed plan to set me up for the best recovery possible. My healing journey has been challenging but very rewarding, and I’m grateful for his guidance every step of the way. DR. Ramkumar worked with our insurance to make sure we didn’t have any unexpected bills unlike most Dr’s. He was very informative on every step of way. Dr. Ramkumar is an excellent and highly knowledgeable physician! I came to him after spending 6 months at physical therapy working on my lower back pain with no relief. After just one visit with the doctor, he immediately diagnosed me with hip impingement (it wasn't even my back after all this time spent at PT!).
